Some information about good skin treatments.
There is a huge range of special treatments that have been cautiously formulated to treat precise problems. These treatments are: serums and gels, ampoule treatments, liposome creams, skin energizers and skin firmer.
Serums and gels
These have an ultraviolet formulation, a non-greasy texture and a high concentration of active ingredients. They are not typically designed to be used on their own, apart from on oily skins. They are normally applied under a moisturizer to improve its benefits and increase the anti-ageing process.
Ampoule treatments
These concentrated active ingredients are contained in sealed glass phials or ampoules, to make sure that they are fresh. Typical extracts include herbs, wheat germs, vitamins and collagen – used for their concentrated and fast acting results. Vitamin E is another great skin saver. Break open a capsule and smooth the oil on the face for a speedy skin treat.
Liposome creams
These are tiny spheres in the cream which carry special ingredients into the skin. Their covering breaks down as they are absorbed into the skin, releasing the active ingredients.
Skin energizers
These creams include special ingredients designed to speed up the natural production and repair of the skin cells. As well as producing a fresher, younger – looking skin, they are also thought to help fight the signs of ageing.
Skin firmer
You can lift the skin immediately with creams that are designed to tighten, firm and smooth. They work by forming an ultra-fine film on the skin, which tightens the skin texture and reduce the appearance of fine lines. The effects last for a few hours, and make-up can without difficulty be applied on top. These products are a magnificent treat for a special night out or when you are feeling particularly tired.
Skin treatments come in all shapes and sizes, and in a variety of formulations. Choose a cream that contains specific ingredients to improve the skin.
