Things That Make Me Beautiful: My Favorite Beauty Products

Hi, I thought that I would make a blog about my beauty products that I use because people are always asking me what kind of makeup I use and so I thought I would just put it all out there for you ladies. Trust me I have used just about everything and these are all my personal favorites hope you enjoy!

Face

Jergens Natural Glow Face and Daily Moisturizer. I love this product because it gives you a really nice glow and gets better as the day goes on. Also it doesn’t give you that orangey look. About $6.00

Foundation

Revlon ColorStay Makeup with SoftFlex for Combination/Oily Skin. This foundation is awesome and covers really well. I use it with a square pad and it smoothes really easily. It also last for 16 hrs. It is really good for covering blemishes. Between $11 and $17 Walmart is the cheapest.

Other Foundations 

Pur Minerals 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Foundation with SPF 15. More than a mineral foundation, 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup Foundation is a natural mineral makeup concealer, powder and SPF 15 protection all in one. This is an amazing product and covers great. It is also really fast to apply like 30 seconds not joking. Travel Size is $13.50, Full size is $22.50.

Glow

Pur Minerals Mineral Glow. This is a great glow and it works great with the Jergens Face Glow…it just keeps on glowing! Also doesn’t give that orangey look and lasts all day for a perfect sun kissed look. Travel Size is $13.50 or Full Size is $22.50.

Blush

Pur Minerals Universal Marble Mineral Powder in Pink. This is a nice blush and doesn’t give you that Tammy Fay look. Just very subtle and looks nice and light. Also lasts all day long. Travel $13.50 or Full Size $22.50.

Also they make a Pur Minerals Starter Kit that comes with the 4-in-1 foundations, mineral glow, blush and and chisel brush. It is great if you dont want to spend a whole lot of money but still try it out and see if you like it. Its called the Pur Perfection Starter kit and its $35.00

Lip Pencil

Pur Minerals Lip Pencil in Spiced Amber. This is a really good color and it stays on long. It goes really well with my lipstick. The only thing is that it will break off easy if you have a lot sticking out. So just a little and your good to go. Price is $15.00 a little expensive I know but beauty is priceless! haha

LipStick

Rimmel relaunch Heather Shimmer in Lasting Finish Intense Wear Lipstick. This is a great color and it has a little shimmer to it, it also stays on all day and has a pretty good taste too.

Mascara

CoverGirl Lash Blast in Very Black. All I can say about this mascara is that it is the BOMB!! It will give you lashes for days. I love it! It has a funky little brush and gives any eyelashes a boost you will be amazed! Price around $7.00 or $8.00 bucks.

Lip Gloss

Bath and Body Works Metha Lip Tint in Plum Mint. This Lip Gloss is so Flossy! I love it it is so shiny and sassy goes great with any lipstick or by itself. It also has a peppermint flavor to it so your breath is always kissable. Normally $7.00 but on sale right now for $5.00. This stuff is AMAZING!

Hair

TIFI Bead Head Superstar Queen for a day Thickening Spray, love this stuff gives great volume and smells FAB! It lets your hair move around and is not crunchy. Price. $16.50.

Face Wash

Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Facial Cleanser. Its oil free, also wont clog pores. Unlike ordinary cleansers, it contains Salicylic Acid to get rid of acne you have now and help prevent future breakouts. Gives your face a nice clean feeling and also removes your mascara! Costs around $6.00 or $7.00 bucks.

Facial Exfoliater Scrubs

St. Ives Medicated Apricot Scrub for Oily/Acne Prone Skin. This stuff makes your face so soft and gets rid of that dry skin in the summer months. Also helps prevent acne and blackheads.They also make one for Sensitive and Normal Skin. I love it and you can use it everyday. Bottle lasts a long time and its cheap, around $3.00 or $4.00.
