Water is very important to great skin care. Drinking water keep your organ and digestive system is great working order. Using moist heat, when rinsing helps the skin, by giving it the neccessary moisture it needs to stay soft and young looking.
Taking care of your skin is very important to maintaining a youthful appearance, but taking care of your face is just one important step in having a youthful appearance. Having young looking hands are just as important and well as the nutrients you put in to you body. One very basic way to keep the body look and feeling its best is, drinking plenty of water. Our body’s main content is water, and if our organs are not receiving the water, from your intake, it will take it from other sources, which can leave your skin feeling dry.
Avoid smoking and alcoholic beverages; smoking causes the skin to age, while alcohol is a dehydrator. The more dehydrated the body is, it becomes easier for lines and crease to appear, making you look older.
Hydrotherapy for your face is very important; by using moist heat it helps to keep the skin hydrated. Whether at spa, in a hot tub, or in your own home, it is a great idea to take the time to sit in the mist that is created; before your shower. The mist helps your body by allowing the body to “drink” the water, which is something thirsty skin needs. You can create you very own facial mini-spa, by boiling a large pot of a water, then place a towel over your head, and lean over a breathe in the moisture, for ten minutes. This is also a very good therapy for sinus and respiratory disorders, but always check with your health care provider. When the water, cools down to a tolerated temperature take, a soft cloth, and rinse your face, and slowly exfoliate your skin, this helps to take away dry dead skin, and improve your facial circulation.
Using facial cream and beautifying mud, is a great way to care for your skin, but should always be checked for skin sensitivity. Using mud is a great way to detoxify your skin, while adding moisture, as the mud dries; it is helps to tighten, and improve muscle tone. A quality mud, should not be overly greasy, if you see the oil as you spread it over you skin, it is not very good quality; it should be subtle and create a smooth finish. The mud should contain nutrients that are easily absorbed by the skin to avoid dryness. The contents should include mineral water, magnesium and potassium. When removing the mud, apply a moist, warm cloth over your face and gently wipe away the mud, don’t rug and scrap. Rinsing the cloth and gently wiping your face many times is the best way to go, this way you are constantly using warm water, thus adding more moisture to your face. When the mud is completely removed, splash your face with warm water, pat dry; you will be amazed at how smooth you skin looks.
Applying moisturizer should be done when the pours of your skin are open. When you are about to add cream to any part of your body, rinse the area with warm water, pat dry, and add the moisturizer. While the body’s pours are open the skin will be able to absorb the cream, and keep the skin soft, and well hydrated.
Drinking plenty of water is just one way to help your body feel its best; and keeping your skin well hydrated.
