Remedies for Dark Underarms
How I discover remedies for my dark armpits.
I have a very sensitive skin most specially in my armpits. I noticed my underarms is getting darker. There are handful of reasons why my armpits appear dark, some of the causes of dark underarms are as follows shaving, use of chemical and strong fragrance in deodorant. Harsh chemical darken the skins.
They said it is good to wax your underarms, but waxing is painful, too much time consuming and if pores is open it may cause to darken your skin when you put harsh chemical like deodorant. I am used in shaving my armpits but razor stubble cause a shadowy appearance. If the razor is not sharp it irritates my skin too.
Some women have reported good results from using glutathione soap, or papaya soap, both of which are natural skin whitening agents. I tried it. This help a little, maybe because after washing my underarms with these soaps I still use deodorant . A friend of mine gave me a magic cream. She bought it in ebay. I use one container and the effect is marvelous. It whitens my underarms. I notice the difference after 3 weeks.
The center of my underarm is whiter than my regular skin. Magic cream can be used to whiten dark underarms, groin, napes etc. and also use as sunblock, deodorant & moisturizer. During winter, I use this as my deodorant. I don’t use anymore chemical and strong fragrance deodorant. Summer time, I apply magic cream first on my armpits, then I use the regular deodorant. This works for me. You can try it first, if you plan to buy in Ebay you will notice two magic cream pervil and amira magic cream. I tried both product, both have the same effect. Please note I am not a seller of Magic cream. Please let me know if it works for you too. Give me some feedback.
Above is the picture of my underarms. It was 3 shades darker before.

Hi! I bought mine from Ebay. They have 2 kind of cream, pervil and amira magic cream. I tried both product, the effect is the same it whitens my underarm and my knees. I hope it works for you too.

I almost finished my 2 bottles when I started to see the effects. But I notice every time I use my regular deodorant after a few weeks I notice it starts to darken again. So I did not use regular deodorant. I use Magic cream as my deodorant for months. Don’t give up I have the same problem before.

@coffee, yes it is. I usually put this on after shower and at night before I sleep, I wash my armpit and apply it again. If you avoid using deodorant for a while the better. I notice that my underarms gets darker when I use regular deodorant. During summer, I perspire too much that is why I use magic cream first then apply the regular deodorant. I have a whiter underarm now than before. I hope it works for you too.

I use this before regularly for about 3 to 5 months when I notice my underarm center is lighter than my regular skin I stop using it for months, I noticed my underarms is lighter compared before. Our underarms will darken because of constant shaving or just putting our regular deodorant. In my case I still use magic cream often but not everyday.

I was born in the Philippines, I have brown skin. My experience when I tried using this, my friend told me to use this as my deodorant but sometimes my underarms perspires too much so I apply magic cream first, then on top the regular deodorant. I noticed that the portion(underarm) where i put the magic cream is lighter compared to my regular skin. That is why I know it works for me. You can try this. I suggest not to use regular deodorant because this causes the discoloration of our underarms. Instead use alum powder. You can buy this at any Asian store. I hope this help you. not using deo can whitens the skin even if you’re not using any whitening creams.. try not to put anything on your armpit, it will lighten.. but the smell is not good..

@barbie doll, yes it is true, that is why i cannot avoid using underarm, magic cream can be use as deodorant too but during summer season we perspire too much that is why I still use deodorant.

@mich, before i pluck my underarms but the pores takes a while to close and if not dry properly got infection and the more my underarms get dark. What I did is shave my armpits after shower, dry it first, then shave. Then apply magic cream. It takes a while before you will see the results. Dont give up easily. It is effective with me. I hope it will be effective with you too.

Hi! am glad I read this article. I’ve been using amira magic for my face for 2 yrs now. I tried it on my armpit for just few weeks n didn’t get good results so i just quit.After readingthis article, I will try again and this time I will be patient. For those who are located abroad, the best way to get it cheaper is ask a balikbayan you know to get u at least 6 months supply, this will save you a lot of money than buying it fr Ebay which i did 2 yrs ago. (paid $25/60gm jar), i only paid P1,500 for 2 jars. Please beware of fake amira magic cream.

hi, I am from the Philippines and i find this article really helpful. I just ordered it online and hope it will work. I will let you know as soon as i got some result.
It’s true that deodorant can darken our underarm, so you must first get rid of them. That was my first problem and it has been resolved. I tried using Betadine antiseptic cleanser (the blue one) as my underarm liquid soap, and since day 1 I’ve not been using any deo anymore. The only problem that i have to deal with is this dark UA due to this long term use of deodorant. Hopefully this Amira Magic Cream will do the trick.

It will take maybe 3 to 6 months of continuous use of magic cream to see the result. If you can use alum powder as deodorant that will help you too instead of using the regular deodorant. Right now I am using magic cream for my age spot on my face. I see it starts to lighten. I took picture of before after 3 months I will take picture again to compare the improvement. Interesting. I have started using Nivea whitening deoderant which is believed to give the same effects. If it doesn’t work, I shall check out magic cream as per your recommendation.

@karina, it works in hot places, just put magic cream first then your deodorant. I shave my underarms because im lazy to plucked it. Make sure you are careful when you shave it.

How many times a day do you put the cream on? I tried to put it on twice a day but that doesn’t seem to work for me. In the morning, I perspired a lot so it becomes an irritation. Only at night that it does not cause any problem. How long does it take for you to finish one cream bottle?

@rainie, I do it twice. morning at night time. I dont use deodorant for a couple of months because I notice the deodorant is the major reason my underarms darkens. If you perspire too much use alum powder instead of deodorant you buy from the store.
