These are your skin’s best years. Remember that this is the period when you lay the groundwork for your skin’s health.

- Cleansing is key wash twice a day with an anti bacterial soap if you are very greasy or blemish prone, but if you are only mildly oily, stick to a gentler, soap free cleanser .Removing Makeup? Wipe it off with a cotton pad moistened with chilled rosewater.
- Use an alcohol free toner to freshen up after cleansing and restoring the pH balance of the skin. Or apply some tomato juice on your face and rinse off after five minutes.
- Pick a light moisturizer, which would not block pores or make your skin greasier. In fact, new moisturizers do much more then just hydrate – look for one that absorbs excess oil and adds moisture just where needed.
- Use sunscreen religiously. Nearly 90% of our wrinkles come from exposure to the sun’s ultraviolet rays, which penetrate deep into the skin to attack collagen, the spongy protein that keeps skin supple and firm. SPF 15 is the minimum you need.
- A scrub and mask will open blocked pores. Try a honey-egg mask once in a week.
- Avoid Heavy Foundations They may block pores, leading to acne. While this is the age to experiment with new looks, stick to reputed brands and do a patch test when in doubt. Spurious or low quality products can damage your skin as they contain harmful dyes and other skin damaging ingredients.
Never pick or burst acne spots, as this will lead to permanent scarring .Instead ,arm yourself acne formulations and apply at first sign of inflammation
