How to Get Rid of Spots: Top Five Treatments
The best five ways to combat spots.
Spots are a huge problem for some people, myself included, and can often last for years. Well if you want rid of your acne then here are 5 great methods that should clear up your face in no time.
1. Healthy lifestyle: The most obvious remedy. Initially when you start to get a few spots make sure that you are not eating too much sugar and that you wash your face (or wherever spots are present) regularly. Hopefully this should drive the spots off before they get a serious hold on you. It us not always diet or lack of washing that causes spots, but it is best to make minor adjustments in order to nip these things in the spot!
2. Toothpaste: A conventional method that should start to dry out spots. If spots do not go away and begin to spread, try dabbing copious amounts of toothpaste on the affected area, and leaving for several hours (perhaps overnight). The toothpaste should harden and make the spots recede. If initially you feel a slight burning sensation, then don’t worry, this is what you want.
Try this and within no time your spots should be greatly diminished, at no extra cost since you already have toothpaste (or so I hope).
3. Clearasil (or any spot cream or gel): The most well known form of combating spots. Simply go to the local chemists and buy a spot cream or gel. Apply according to the instructions (normally to lather it onto father and then rinse). This is a tried and tested method and should help to reduce the spots and should hopefully start to scare them off.
4. Sudocream: This will be prescribed for free from any doctor if you have or are a child (under 18). By rubbing over spots and leaving for a while it should dry them out and is very effective. This is one of the best anti-spot treatments there are.
5. Prescribed medication: If spots continue to spread and become bad acne, then it is time to go to a GP. The doctor will endow you with some tablets and a special rub that should get rid of spots. These will dry out the skin so you should drink plenty of fluid while using them. It should also be noted that if you wear contacts and they stick to your eyes, this is ok.
So there you go; five methods to get rid of spots and clear your skin.
