Enhance your complexion with natural remedies and hence get a fairer and glossy skin.
- Keep washing your face and neck once in three hours with soft and cold water without using any soap or lotion.
- Take bath twice a day.
- Cut lemon into two pieces and keep brushing it on your face and neck in the mornings and evenings before bath.
- Mix a few drops of gingelly oil with water vigorously and when it becomes white rub it on your face and
leave it for 10 to 15 minutes. Now wash your face. Do this once a day. - Pick tender neem leaves and grind it well to make a smooth paste and apply the same on your face and leave it for 15 minutes and then wash your face with soft water.
- Make a semisolid paste of sandal wood powder by adding water. Collect the same in a bowl and apply it on your face daily twice. Allow your face to dry for few hours and then wash your face. The paste once made can be preserved in a refrigerator for a few days.
- Apply unpeeled green gram flour on the face and body regularly as a substitute for soaps continuously for three months to achieve fairer skin and a glossy look.
- For women use of raw turmeric powder prepared at home will produce extraordinarily good results in both maintaining the quality of the skin as well as improving the colour.
- Apply coconut milk or two days old curd regularly for a period of 30 days for a brighter skin.
- Each one of the above remedies/preventive cares is not only to enhance your complexion but also to keep your skin bright and spotless when used for months continuously.

Lots of tips, but I agree with Vikram about why being fair is equated with looking good or being pretty.
