This article talks about the importance of holiday skin care.
When people thing about the holiday times they usually think of the holidays that are in the winter time. That includes October, November, December and January. During those holiday times, the temperature usually gets very cold. Many places experience snow fall regularly, other places have freezing rain. This type of harsh climate can be detrimental to holiday skin care. Most people pay no attention to the climate, but they do realize that their skin is taking a beating.
A normal reaction for a person as regards to holiday skin care is to simply get some lotion to counteract the dryness that the holiday times are causing. However, this does not always work. In fact, it almost never works. This is because holiday lotion alone is not enough for you to keep your skin moisturized and healthy in the cold climates. Most cold climates can cause your skin to become dry and cold. This means that you will notice that it is really easy for you to have ashy skin in the holiday times. Ashy skin is another way to say that you skin is breaking on a microscopic level.

That is another reason why you should pay more attention to holiday skin care. When you have broken skin it is much easier for you to get infected by certain types of pathogens and other things that can cause sickness. If you keep your skin moisturized and protected in the holiday times then you will not only look good, but you will feel good because you won’t be as sick as you could be.
As far as getting the job done, you will need to make sure that you moisturize your holiday skins and keep them moisturized. The first part of the plan is probably the easiest. Most holiday lotions can get the job done without a problem, but the second part of the plan is the part that most people overlook. To keep your holiday skins moisturized you will need some type of skin protector such as petroleum jelly or some other oil based moisturizer. You will need to apply this after you apply the holiday lotion. Applying before will defeat the purpose of trapping the moisture in your skin. It is also important to note that not all oil based skin protectors are useful. You don’t want one that is too much of a liquid because it will have a hard time trapping the moisture.
