A simple face massage can make you look better and give you other health benefits. It can aid digestion, stimulate the immune system, vitalize you mentally, physically and spiritually.

Your face has the most sensitive, finely tuned nerves and muscles in your body. A face massage can vitalize you mentally, physically, and spiritually. And the benefits don’t stop there. It can aid digestion, stimulate the immune system and help the lymphatic system flush out toxins from the body. Take a few deep breaths and focus your attention on these 7 spots. Press and hold each point with a steady gentle pressure for about one minute. Release and repeat a few times. Then rub in a circular pattern while applying gentle pressure to each of these spots you are working on. Repeat as often as possible.

  1. Along the hairline:

Helps with frontal tension, headaches and reduces stress from worry.

  2. Between Eyes:

Helps relieve sinus congestion and sinus headaches. Also good for the eyes. Take care not to press on the eyes themselves.

  3. Temples:

Increases blood flow to the eyes and skin. Helps skin look more youthful and refreshed.

  4. Jaw Muscles:

Relieves temporomandivular joint (TM) pain and tightens the jaw.

  5. Next to Nose:

Improves sense of smell and relieves sinus congestion.

  6. Corners of the Mouth:

Helps to digest food, relieve cold sores and eases toothache.
Eases tension in the upper jaw.

Try this simple massage any time during the day when you have an extra few minutes, and you will see the difference it makes in your day.

Good article, Ruby. I have used pressure points for a number of years and find it very helpful.

To answer your question about ACV you left for me. Apple Cider Vinegar is high in potassium. I’m glad you thought to find out before you tried it.

  2. Fran Witherspoon Says:

I will try a massage. It sounds wonderful.

This sounds so restful. I would love to have a face massage.

Thanks ladies for your comments. Darlene, I used pressure points a few years ago when I herniated disks in my neck. It helped.

It’s my birthday in a couple of months, (a big one)!) and I plan to have a face massage as a present to myself. I can’t wait.
