Some tips to take care of hair and nails.

Those who have healthy skin will possibly also have healthy hair and nails. Hair can be kept clean only by washing and a thorough shampoo once a week is usually enough. But if the hair is particularly oily, it may have to be washed more often. Brushing the hair regularly stimulates the circulation in the scalp, and also helps remove dirt, loose hair and dandruff.

Most dandruff is not a disease. The outer layer of the skin naturally flakes off, and these flakes may cause mild dandruff. However, if the scalp is also very oily and reddened, it may indicate the kind of dandruff that requires the help of a general practitioner.

If the nails dry and split easily, proper food elements in the diet may be lacking. A balanced diet frequently clears up this condition.
