Homemade skincare mask using Aspirin

Have you tried this one?

Buy some aspirin from the pharmacy. We have them in Bayer or Disprin brands but Disprin is cheaper. No, panadol or paracetamol doesn’t work. You need Aspirin. If you can get generic uncoated ones even better.

Put 2 in the palm of your hand and drip some water onto them. Wait a bit and mush them up. Then put all over your face. Let it dry for say 15 minutes then wash off. Instant baby smooth skin!

This works well for when you have pimples too. Just make a thick paste and paste it on the pimple. It dries it out quickly and reduces redness. This is attributed to the salicylic acid in aspirins. Its the same ingredient found in medicated skincare for acne prone skin.

A variation is to mix the aspirin with honey (baby smooth and moisturised skin) or aloe vera (baby smooth and cooling). I used to do this about once a week or once every two weeks. Keeps the spots at bay.

Best of all, its cheap. Cheap and effective. What more do you need?
