If you keep your eyes on the magazines or print ads you might notice that there seems to be new anti wrinkle skin care products being advertised everyday. Some questions that come up about these products are:
How early on should you start using them?
Are these products alone enough to keep your wrinkles at bay?

Many women become increasingly concerned with the condition of their skin as they grow older – and this often leads to many women turning to anti wrinkle skin care products. This is one of the non-invasive alternatives for dealing with wrinkles that are commercially available in the market. These products act on the common problems of aging skin, like discoloration, sagging, and wrinkling. Some questions that surround the use of these anti wrinkle products are “How early on should women begin using anti wrinkle cream?” and “Are anti wrinkle products alone enough to keep wrinkles at bay?” This article will delve into the answers to these very questions.

When to start

Women in their 20’s are generally advised to start using anti-aging products that provide moisture and sunscreen because signs of aging start to manifest at this time. But as a woman grows older, they need to expand their choices of anti-aging products to specifically target some skin problems. Anti wrinkle skin care products are one of these products. They specifically target fine lines and other creases that develop in the skin overtime. Creams like these generally have extra moisturizing ingredients, sunscreen and an active ingredients that will generate the anti wrinkle effect.

The Mayo Clinic advises caution on using anti wrinkle skin care products. Since these creams are considered cosmetics, and not medications, there could be no guarantee of the creams’ effectivness because they are not subjected to the same rigors of testing as medications.

Beneficial ingredients

Although this is the case, anti wrinkle skin care products contain one or several active ingredients that are proven to have effects on the skin. Some of these active ingredients include retinol, hydroxyl acids, coenzyme Q10 and copper peptides.

  • Retinol is an antioxidant that neutralizes destructive free radicals
  • Hydroxy acids are fruit acids that induce a gentle peel to take off an old layer of the skin
  • Coenzyme Q10 regulates the energy consumption of skin cells
  • Copper peptides enhance and stimulate collagen synthesis and enhance activities of antioxidants. All these ingredients seek to reduce wrinkles by taking out factors that cause it, and help rebuild the skin

Research on these active ingredients back-up the cosmetics’ claim, but it still doesn’t take away the fact that they get sold to the market without passing through rigorous tests.

For these reasons, one must not rely solely on anti wrinkle skin care products to ward of the signs of aging. In addition to your creams, it is advised to drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated. Eating lots of healthy food like vegetables, fruits and lean sources of protein will also help rebuild your skin. As sun exposure is one of the leading causes of wrinkles, wearing sunscreen will definitely help cut down on the harmful effects of the sun.

I must say that I was skeptical about the Made from Earth Face Firming Serum, but for the low price versus cosmetics, I figured it was worth a try. Amazingly, it really works quite well and MY WIFE LOVES IT! Highly recommended for women who want a wrinkle treatment…

After a few weeks, people were commenting that she looked less tired, asked if she had lost weight, been exercising or on vacation. Since it works gradually over a few weeks, you notice a bit of difference yourself, but the people who don’t see you that often really notice a dramatic change. Smaller wrinkles are smoothed out and disappear completely, while large ones get smaller.

you can find them at madefromearth.com
It won’t make a 69 year old look 20, but definitely takes off a decade of wear and tear.
