In need of a good relaxing foot bath? Aren’t we all. This simple do it yourself foot bath will have you relaxed and ready to put on those high heels you have been hiding in the back of your closet.

Its summer time and its time to flaunt those feet that you have been comfortably hiding behind snug shoes. Now its time to show off your feet and give yourself a relaxing at home foot bath. Adding fragrances to the bath can add many other benefits as well, such as mental clarity, energy and overall relaxation and calm to your mind. If you are like me and desire silky smooth feet all the time, the best quick solution is to buy a foot rasp at Wal-Mart or Target. Its a inexpensive solution that does not disappear like foot cremes do. I have found the most affordable foot rasps at Wal-Mart being the cheapest at 99 cents. You can’t beat that.

Aloe Vera is a heal all, easy to apply and relatively inexpensive it is a wonderful addition to any at home treatment. Great for sunburns and skin renewal this plant is perfect for feet in need of some attention. Which in turn makes it perfect to apply after you have experienced a nice foot soak. To experience this delightful foot bath one must fill a basin with warm water and add the following ingredients:

  • 1 cup of lemon juice/lime juice 3 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of epsom salts
  • 1/3 cup powdered milk

Soak until the water becomes lukewarm. Once again to add an extra boost to the foot bath the fragrances below are a wonderful addition to any type of spa treatment. Other fragrances and oils can also be used and may work better for you, depending on your needs.
Fragrances to add to the bath: Lavender- relaxes and balances the skin, body and mind Peppermint- energizes, gives mental-clarity Citrus- energizes
