Vitamin E can work wonders, reducing wrinkles and leaving skin looking younger.
Vitamin E is a natural product that can play an important role in skin care.
If you are trying natural products to boost beauty, vitamin E should be on your must-have list. It can be applied to the face and body surface for younger-looking skin.
Vitamin E and Skin
- Vitamin E is a lipid-based antioxidant, protecting skin cells from damage by rendering protection from free radicals (vitamin E protects cells and cell membranes from oxidative stress).
- Vitamin E combats the ravages of aging by reducing fine lines and wrinkles on the skin’s surface.
- Vitamin E has skin moisturizing properties and helps to prevent water loss from the skin.
- Vitamin E can help with certain skin conditions that make skin look rough or appear aged.
- Taking vitamin E orally can also help the appearance of skin, it works from the inside out to repair and strengthen skin.
- Vitamin E can help to protect the skin from sun damage, which in turn combats aging.
- Vitamin E plays an important role in tissue repair–especially important for mature skin. (Vitamin E can help to diminish age spots.)
- Vitamin E is believed to reduce the appearance of stretch marks.
The jury is still out as to the role vitamin E plays in relation to scarring (some individuals have claimed that it reduced scars while others felt that it worsened theirs).
Vitamin E can be applied topically (alpha-tocopherol) and taken orally to support the skin. Some people break open vitamin E oil capsules and apply them directly to skin; others look for natural skin-care products containing vitamin E.
If you are looking at natural ways to boost beauty, why not try vitamin E for younger looking skin?

Hi Jhenz,
Too much of anything can be harmful. If you take vitamin E as directed it can benefit you from a health standpoint.
Its benefits, in relation to the skin are well known.
I’ve never heard of any link between vitamin E and cancer–in fact, just the opposite. It appears to have a protective effect on body systems, full of powerful, disease-fighting compounds.
