What is Nail care? Know to maintain your nails and prevent damages; prevent nails from discoloring and other common damages.
The culture of looking neat, beautiful and healthy has no time bound. And what makes it more elegant is the right attention given to the components of beautiful healthy living- the nail a critical one! But why spend a dime only to keep your nail fit, when here are tips that guarantee perfect Nail Care ensuring hygiene culture.
The care of the nail may be viewed from two perspectives. Without going into litany of terminologies, the care for the nail on the hand known as manicure should be stress-free to manage unlike the care for the feet nails which is usually subjected to timid and high heat conditions- no thanks to high heel shoes; canvas; snickers just to mention few.
So my tips to maintaining healthy nail relates to both the feet nail and the hand nail.
1. Do you know that the conditions that affect your nail come from both within and outside you?
2. Does your work require regular hand or feet contact with oil and chemical materials?
3. What are your domestic activities like? What is the temperature of your locality?
All these and more determines the growth of your nail from without.
For example see the picture how a clean pair of nails looks.

CARE FROM WITHIN
Food; the development and growth of man is dependent on the nourishment of the body which comes usually in form of food, fruits inclusive. The contributions of Vitamins, be it ‘A’, ‘C’, ‘E’ to the development of body antibodies (mechanism that easily protect the body against bacteria, fungal and other infections) cannot be over emphasized. So to maintain a healthy nail culture you need to understand the contents of the diet you take.
CARE FROM WITHOUT
Nature of work; although the development of nail could be gender sensitive from observation-male grows longer nail than female. So for instance, as a data entry officer, your fingers are constantly call to duty on the input equipment in executing your job, it then follows that your keeping long nail is a call to nail breakages and consequent to injury.
Climate; during high temperature, it is observed that the speed at which nail grows increases. This is nature influence. So do not get worried if you are the keep-the-nail-low type. Just apply a cream conditioner to the surface of the nail not leaving the tip to keep the nail and the fingers at a cool temperature. To minimize risk of erroneous damage to your nail, do not apply cream that contains chemicals like acetone which may bleach your nail surface and even cause injury to the skin-like flesh that holds the nail to its root in the finger- the cuticle.
Chores at Home; you can not afford the expense of living in an unclean environment. So it is understandable that a clean home is the bedrock of every healthy living.

But in achieving this, the hands inclusive of the fingers are involved, and along the oil, or other similar substance when have contact with the nails can alter its natural color permanently. In other not to fall into this dilemma, it is advisable to always have hands glove on before the commencement of domestic activities; like washing meal plates, cutting of the garden and the likes.
