In a recent youtube.com video, you can see how using two hot color eye shadows(hot pink, hot yellow, and hot orange) can be added to the eyes and paired with a matching shirt or nails even to really show some summer fun.

For the upcoming summer of 2009 we will see once again, a number of bright, vibrant neon colors splashed across all kinds of wardrobes and styles.

For those of us into cosmetics and wearing make-up that makes a statement, this same style can be applied.

In a recent youtube.com video, you can see how using 2 hot color eye shadows ( hot pink, hot yellow, and hot orange) can be added to the eyes and paired with a matching shirt or nails even to really show some summer fun.

To ensure that eye shadow colors really pop on the eyelids and that they stick for all day wear, it is important to lay down a base. Many people use specific eye primers for this process, which work great to keep from creasing. But if you want the colors to really pop and your looking for a convenient and inexpensive way to use a base, you can simply fill in the eyelid with a white pencil and smooth it out.

Next, to help blend the neon eyeshadow colors I will be using, I put a thin layer of white shadow over my lid.

A key thing you want to remember when applying more than one color to the eyelid is to keep the lightest color for the inner part of the eye and the darkest color on the outer This widens the eye and create depth.

So, beginning with the neon yellow, pat the color onto the inner third of the eye, bet grab the hot orange and pat into the middle of the eye lid, slightly overlapping the yellow line closest to the middle ( don’t be considered with blending it all in just yet, its ok if the color have distinct divided lines at this point.)

Next, add the neon pink to the rest of the outer corner of the eye lid and bring some of it up into the crease. You’ll want to got through and blend the colors carefully now and rub the brush along the crease in windshield wiper motions.

Add a white highlight shadow to the brow bone, a medium-thick black liquid eyeliner line above the lashes and rim the inner waterline with a black pencil.

Apply flash lashes, or just add mascara to your eyes, and you will look smoking hot and ready with fabulous makeup everyone will love in summer 2009.
