Picture Perfect

Having picture perfect eyes and an overall great picture is tricky. Try this.

Do you want your eyes to stand out and shine for your wedding day pictures or just have your eyes pop out in the picture?

If you have green, hazel, grey or blue eyes- Apply a green tint cover stick concealer under your eye area, blend it in, then apply your regular skin shade concealer over that. Powder face with translucent powder then sweep bronzer on the top of your eye lid. Apply brown mascara to the top lashes. Make sure your flash is on when taking pictures.

For other color eyes such as black, brown-Apply a purple tint cover stick, blend it in, then apply your regular concealer over that. Powder face then add the bronzer to the top of your eye lid. Apply a soft black mascara to the top lashes. Make sure your flash is on when taking pictures.

When filling in your brows, make sure that you donot make them look darker than what they are. Use a brown eyeshadow and lightly fill in your brows if you have gaps. “Lightly”. Make sure your eye brows are nicely trimmed. Extra hair where it doesn’t belong doesn’t allow your eyes to pop out.

Great colors for the camera- Pink, purple, yellow, blue, burgundy top with some jeans or a neutral color skirt. These colors pop out in the camera, accenting your eyes and features. Stay away from busy patterns. A layered look is great, such as…

A yellow polo shirt under a blue sweater or a blue collar shirt under a burgundy sweater. In the summer- A yellow tank top over a blue t shirt. Colors sound funky? But just wait until you see your pictures. Beautiful! Remember the way we normally fix ourselves up is not always good for the camera. That’s why you have make up artist and photographers that have to put things together differently so that the pictures come out perfect. Its not what looks best in your eyes, its what looks best in the camera’s eyes.
