Make-up in just ten minutes- can that be possible? Yes, it is true! If you are career gal or a busy mum whose life seems to be on the wheels, here are some easy transformation tips. Gone are the days when women lingered for hours over facial pastes and color patches to get that glam look. Cosmetic companies and beauty brands have buckled up and realized the need for no-fuss make-up that will get women to sizzle at once. So you now have products that give you just that – they are easy to use, quick with results and practical to carry. Be it a bride, socialite or a corporate leader, for the woman on the move, moisturizer is a must. While a concealer does the trick most of the time, make up stylist recommends foundation during working hours only if necessary. Kajal or gel eyeliner adds character to your face and lipstick, of course, is a must. It is advised that a blusher shade for a day should be close to your skin tone; the idea is to look healthy. For the evening, a blush that is a tone darker than your skin is fine. Remember, blending is the key. You should cleanse your skin with a wet tissue and then select the foundation with a moisturizer and SPF to save time on multiple layers. Line your eyes with a sift kohl pencil and then smudge it. For daywear, nude gloss or lightly tinted gloss on the lips does the trick. Use a cream blush on your cheeks to lend a soft touch to your face.

Here are some other tips that can help you in a jiffy.

  1. Just like you would want to start with a clean slate, it is essential to begin your make-up with a clean face; so the first step is to cleanse, tone and moisturize.
  2. Loose powder applied lightly after using foundation protects your face from dust and pollution.
  3. Under-eye dark circles and facial pigmentation can be controlled with a concealer, but bear in mind that a concealer helps to tint the discoloration, not mask it!
  4. Go for multi-purpose products that you can employ on your cheeks as well as lips, or a concealer that can work also as an eyelid primer, or a foundation that contains SPF and moisturizing benefits.
  5. For your nails, opt for polish that does not chip easily. Go in for completely clear shade or a very light pink that does not show when it chips.
  6. To get that sensuous pout, shape your lips with a pencil, but avoid using a dark ne, as it could look tacky if not done properly. Dark shades are fine for a dramatic night out, but for the day, keep it cute and sexy with just a tinted lip-gloss.
  7. Blending the foundation is an art – do it with your fingertips because it spreads evenly as the heat of the skin aids in even and uniform application.
  8. Save time and money when buying make-up products by approaching cosmetics counters in department stores and mall. The experts there can guide and advise you to choose what is right for you.
  9. To ensure your make-up lasts longer, spray over with a fine mist of water so as to gently seal it.
