If you have blue eyes, finding the right eye shadow color may seem somewhat difficult. While most people with brown and green eyes look great with purple eye shadow, this is not true about you. So, what eye shadow colors will go great with blue eyes? Here are some eye shadow colors to take into consideration.

Pink Eye Shadow For Blue Eyes

People who have blue eyes look great with pink eye shadow. The reason is because natural blue eyes are normally accompanied by very fair skin. Pink eye shadow is a great choice because it looks very subtle on those who have light skin. Try to opt for a very light or medium shade of pink. Fuchsia is one of the main eye shadow colors to avoid if you have blue eyes, as it closely resembles purple.

Brown Eye Shadow For Blue Eyes

One of the best ways to enhance the chance of medium to dark blue eyes is to use brown eye shadow. Since brown and blue are complimentary colors, it is no surprise that this eye shadow color is a great option. Now, it is important to remember that the shade of brown that you opt for does make all the difference. Try to opt for a beige or very light brown if you want to enhance blue eyes. Dark brown should not be worn during the day unless you have light blue eyes.

Grey Eye Shadow For Blue Eyes

Anyone who has light or medium blue eyes should be able to benefit from a very light shade of grey eye shadow. The reason that this is a great choice is because light grey will enhance any natural grey highlights that you have in your eyes. If you have blue eyes that are aqua or turquoise, you will look great in green eye shadow. A lighter green shade will the best choice. The reason that green eye shadow looks best on people with this shade of blue eyes is because it will bring out any green highlights that your eyes may have. This will make it appear as though your eye color is lighter in general.

Although certain colors and eye shadow techniques, such as smoky eyes, may not be right for you, there are ways to enhance your blue eyes using eye shadow.
