Lilac First Arabic Magazine to Feature Model Huda Naccache in Bikini on Its Cover
Lilac Arab magazine based in Israel has become the first ever Arab magazine to post a model "Huda Naccache" in bikini on its cover.
Yara Mashour, is the editor-in-chief of the magazine Lilac, has broken the shell of customs and tradition. As established 10 years ago Lilac has become the first Arabic magazine to show a cover with a bikini.
The 22 year old model, Huda Naccache, from Haifa, is pictured posing in a black sequinned bikini on the cover, and her fixed stare portrays the magazine’s determination to make a difference.
Lilac has done that which no publication in Arab has done before. But this act can get trouble for both Yara Mashour and Huda Naccache or may be worse.
Yara is well aware of the fact that her bold move can get her magazine banned, Huda is also ready for the anything worse, as it is normal in this part of world which has a heavy gender discrimination, women’s right’s violation and spousal domination and media censorship.
This daring act of both ladies has sent a message of change in the Arabic society.

Israel is not too strict for this matter, unlike Saudi Arabia and other Arab country. In bikini as cover, first time, then, the better…join the world of beautiful people.

They are Israeli citizens, the only free country in the Middle East, otherwise the magazine would be already burnt and they hanged or stoned in public.
