How to Feel More Beautiful
It’s very difficult to feeling beautiful in today’s world. Women are constantly being told they have to look like the famous stars of the day. The reality is that not even the stars look like themselves.
In a studio after the photo shoot each photo is airbrushed to eliminate imperfections. So the images we see and compare ourselves with are not even real. It’s no wonder that even celebrities sometimes feel insecure too.
Firstly you need to change the perception we often have of beauty. The images as I have said are airbrushed so don’t compare yourself to them. An attitude change is needed to help boost your confidence.
Supermodels and celebrities are not always the best role models. The film, fashion and music industry all have an unnecessary obsession with unachievable beauty.
Most of us will be able to point out a few things about ourselves that we would like to change. Unfortunately we can’t change everything that we don’t like so instead accept these things. Focus on your good features.
Every woman has at least one good feature. Maybe you have exquisite cheekbones, beautiful eyes, lovely lips, luminous skin or silky hair….. what do people tend to complement on? Find your best feature and bring it out.
Take some time out for yourself. Spend time pampering yourself. A simple face mask or a manicure/pedicure will do. Not only will you look better but feel better too.
Chose your make-up wisely, paying enough attention to your skin colour and type. If your not sure don’t be afraid to talk to a professional. It may seem costly but it is worth every penny. You can get some great tips too.
