To Dye or Not to Dye

Conviron Altatis has black hair.

VIVIAN: Phoebe, where exactly do you live in the US?

PHOEBE: I’m from Canada, Vivian. What made you think I’m an American?

VIVIAN: Because you’re blonde.

PHOEBE: Well, not all blondes are Americans. And not all Americans are blonde.

VIVIAN: That makes sense. Well, you can also dye your hair blonde.

Japanese are fond of dying their hair. Actually, Asians are fond of changing their natural appearance copying the Western way. Westerners also dye their hair. On the one hand, dying your hair is for cosmetic purposes. But on the other hand, it has something to do with our nationalism.

Some say that dying our hair and copy other race’s color is a sign of lack of love of one’s race. Is it extreme to say such?

So, should we dye our hair or not?
