Sometime we tend to overdo it a bit.

Being a woman does have advantages.  We get to wear all the pretty clothes and make-up but sometimes we may overdo it a little.  If this tends to happen to you here are a few quick-fixes for too much of a good thing.

  • Too Much Blush -You don’t need to wash your face and start all over.  Just dip a large brush into translucent powder and gently sweep over cheeks in small circles.
  • Too Much Hair Product -Flip head upside down and use a large paddle brush to loosen product from hair while using a blow dryer.
  • Bangs That Don’t Want To Behave -Use a flat-iron and roll under at the ends.  Sweep to the side and mist slightly with hairspray.
  • Too Much Perfume -Use a cottonball moistened with rubbing alcohol and dab onto perfumed areas of skin.  As the alcohol evaporates it will take the perfume with it.
  • Home Hair Dye Gone Terribly Wrong -If you accidently got brassy highlights try to offset them with some lowlights.  Use a kit that is two shades darker and create a beautiful combo of color.
  • Over-Tweezed Your Brows -Use a dark shade of non-shimmery eye shadow and dab on the bare spots.
  • Nicked Your Manicure Before It Was Even Dry -Use a little polish remover on your fingertip and rub onto the nick until smooth.  Apply a clear top coat and you won’t need to completely redo all your nails.
  • Stayed Up Too Late And Your Eyes Are Telling On You -Moisten two cottonballs with cooled witch hazel and put on eyes for five minutes.  It will tighten the skin to reduce puffiness.  Witch hazel is also great for clearing up blemishes.  Just dab it on to be rid of redness almost immediately.
