Here are inexpensive ways to take care of your hair.

  1. If you want your hair to be shiny just add a small amount of vodka to shampoo bottle.
  2. Hair, brushes and combs may be revived by soaking them in a pot of warm water and 1 tablespoon of baking soda or ammonia.
  3. If you want your hair to sparkle, try adding a teaspoon of white vinegar to your final rinse.
  4. If you have a red hair or are a brunette, try rinsing your hair with black coffee, then clear water to add luster.
  5. To add shine to your hair and to remove shampoo buildup try adding 2 tablespoons of apple cider to the rinse water.
  6. To make an inexpensive shampoo, mis 1/2 cup white vinegar, 1/2 cup dish detergent, 1/4 cup water with 2 teaspoons of mayonnaise (not low-cal).
