Will this work with Henna?

I am not sure with the henna. The folks are usually wonderful answering questions at Sallys Beauty Supply. The filler is protein which fills in the cuticle of the hair which decreased the porosity allowing uniform color. It would seem logical that it would work, I have never used with Henna.
