Natural Treatment for Dry and Damaged Hair

An easy treatment to do at home to keep your hair healthy and to prevent damage.

For most women dry hair can be an annoyance, when hair becomes brittle and dry breakage becomes a very big concern. Women will spend extravagant amounts of money on treating their hair professionally every day. However, there is something you can do at home to help keep your hair healthy and prevent damage.

What You Will Need:

  • 1 tbsp – 3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Blow dryer
  • Dry Towel
  • Hair Brush

You will want to apply desire amount of olive oil depending on the length of your hair evenly and thoroughly. Massage through-out your hair starting from tip, going up towards your roots. Massaging oil into scalp is a good idea as well.

Once you have massaged oil through-out your hair, you will then want to apply low heat through-out your hair using a hair brush. Applied heat should not exceed more than 10 minutes.

After brushing hair with heat directly applied, you will then want to wrap your hair in a dry towel. Keep towel on for at least 30 minutes to help oil absorb into the hair. When the 30 minutes comes to an end you will want to towel dry excess oil off of your hair.

You can then rinse your hair with warm water and hair conditioner; do not use shampoo as it will strip off the oil you just applied. Wait 24-48 hours before shampooing.

This method should be used twice a month for maximum results.
