How to Get Your Hair Back Into Shape

Useful tips for people with really dry and frizzy hair.

Is your hair rough, with no shine, and just blah? Well here are some tips to get it back into shape! (This my not work for fine hair or other hair types).

Stop Washing So Much!

When you wash your hair everyday, you are stripping your hair of natural oils that it needs to survive! Wash every other day. Do an experiment, see how long you can go without washing your hair. If you aren’t going anywhere for the weekend, just let it go. Leave your hair alone!

Deep Condition

Once in a while your hair gets thirsty! Take one night to do this:

  1. Wash your hair & condition with normal shampoo/conditioner. (Rinse it out!).
  2. Dry your hair with only a towel, so that it is still wet but not dripping.
  3. Put a Reese’s Cup size amount of Conditioner in your hair. (you want a good sized blob).
  4. Comb (not brush!) your hair through, with a wide toothed comb.
  5. Put your hair up in a bun, and sleep with it conditioning.
  6. Rinse out in the morning.

Blow Drying?

Blow Drying your hair is really bad for it. No matter what serum you put on it, it dries your hair out horribly. STOP! Let it air dry.

Gels & Hairsprays

You can use gels and hairsprays, but not too much! They sort of clog your hair up. Notice your head itching? It is because of all the Hair gels and Sprays you expose your hair too. A little bit is OK, but do not glob it on!

My hair used to be in extremely bad shape; too dry, poofy, and frizzy. This is what I did, and my hair is growing faster, and looks healthy. It has its shine back! Try these tips!
