Hair Health: Shampoo Free
Make your hair healthy by cleaning it without shampoo.
Shampoo is very bad for your hair. Seriously! It contains many chemicals that are known to be carcinogenic. What you wouldn’t swallow, you shouldn’t put on your skin, either. However, besides the danger of these chemicals, many of them are simply bad for your hair. Shampoo may clean your hair, but it also roughens it. That is why conditioner is also needed- to smooth down the rough edges that the shampoo gave your hair. It’s a vicious cycle. To break it, simply stop using shampoo and conditioner.
Mind, this doesn’t mean not cleaning your hair. For centuries before shampoo was invented, people used soap to clean their hair. They only started using shampoo when false advertising told them that it would be better for their hair. Actually, soap is much better. When I stopped using shampoo, my hair almost immediately became softer, shinier, smoother, and thicker. Many other people have had similar results.
To use this routine, wash your hair with soap. Afterward, condition your hair with an apple cider vinegar mixture. Simply put two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a cup of water, and pour it on your hair. Don’t worry- the smell goes away when you rinse the conditioner out. When you first start this regime, your hair may become slightly greasy as you’ll no longer be using drying shampoo. Soon, however, your oil glands will balance out and you will have healthier, nicer looking hair!
