Puzzled on what hairstyle you should have? Well then, this article might just be helpful in determining your face shapes and the hairstyles that match.

I have an oval-shaped face so I’m pretty lucky because any hairstyle will do for me. But for those who doesn’t have this face shape, you shouldn’t think that you are unfortunate. All you have to do is find the right hairstyle for you and viola!

If you have a round face, and you want to be your own person, you can accentuate the roundness of your face. Choosing a hairstyle that will lengthen the shape of your face is good too. You should have the top layered for fullness and height and thinned out below the cheekbones to give the illusion of a narrower chin line. Medium to long hair will surely loook good on you!

If your face is rectangular or long, you should keep your hair short to medium length to make your face a bit rounded. Bangs will make this hairstyle look hot!

For heart-shaped faces, you should choose a hairstyle that would give more fullness on the lower portion of the face, around the chin and less at the forehead. Keep your hair at least chin length, and light and wispy around the forehead.

If you have a triangular face, add weight to the top of your head with the layers that create fullness, making sure the style thins out as it approaches the jaw.

For those with square-shaped faces, layers on the crown while having your hair parted off center will reduce the square look. Wispy bangs and temples also soften the squareness. Choose short or medium hair.
