Dandruff: Ways to Cure It Naturally
That flaky dandruff, that itch that drives you crazy, how do you get rid of it?
Most of us have had dandruff sometime during our life. That uncomfortable itching sensation that you can not help but scratch. We usually end up going out and buying medicated shampoo’s to try to get rid of the dandruff. Well, next time you might want to try one of these safe, all natural remedies.
Try coconut oil, it is to be excellent for dandruff. If you have trouble finding coconut oil, check with your local health food store. Just apply the coconut oil generously to the scalp and scrub the dead skin away with a brush. Then, for fifteen minutes, hold your head under very warm to hot water. You will have instant relief, that will last up to six months.
You can also try lemon juice for dandruff. To make this process easier, try to use the lemon juice that comes in squeeze bottles. Now, just stand over your sink, squirt the lemon juice very well all over your head and rub it in. Leave the lemon juice on your hair for about fifteen minutes, then wash it out of your hair. Sometimes you have to do this process twice to get rid of the itching.
Also baby oil will work for dandruff, but this can be a little messy. You must apply the baby oil to your hair before going to bed. Wrap a towel on your head and leave it on all night. When you get up in the morning, shampoo your hair. Your dandruff should be gone.
Now, these two ingredients can be used together. Mix olive oil and almond oil, use equal amounts together. Massage this very well onto your scalp. Leave this mixture on for five to ten minutes or until you start feeling a warm sensation. Shampoo this out of your hair and your dandruff should be gone.
When you are done with any of these remedies a final rinse with cider vinegar is recommended to prevent dandruff. It is also recommended that if you can, let your hair dry naturally. If you must use a blow dryer use a low setting and use cool air.
