Don’t wait for extra money and time to go pamper yourself. Live like royalty for pennies a day in your own home.

From your head to your toes, start feeling like a million dollars for only a few cents a day. Why wait for extra money to spend at expensive salons when you have the capability of being the best stylist, therapist, manicurist and skin care expert right in your own hands?

Relax, Why Don’t You?

Begin your routine by getting comfortable and relaxed. Lie on the floor with your hands and arms at rest and your feet stretched out in front of you. Forget about everything else! Any worries or stresses should be far away from your experience. Let your mind go blank.

After you are able to think about nothing else but you, start by concentrating on the very top of your head. You will concentrate on nothing else except this part of your body. After a few moments, you will feel absolutely only the top of your head. Hold this thought for 30 seconds. Now, very easily, feel this part of your body go away! Next, concentrate on your face, hold this thought for 30 seconds, while thinking about nothing else, now, once again, feel this part of you slowly slip away. Continue to do this exercise with each part of your body until you reach the tips of your toes. When you get to this point of the routine, you should feel only your toes. Now, that you are totally calm and rested.

Oh, Those Precious Feet

Break out the pan of water and soak away! After 10 minutes, pat those toes dry and break out the nail file, the nail polish and lotion that’s been hiding in the bottom of that drawer. Remove any excess or dry skin from your feet while carefully filing those nails to perfection. Be sure to file the tips evenly across for a clean and organized look. Start applying the lotion, especially between the toes massaging for at least one minute to make your feet feel revived and ready! Take your time with the polish being sure to coat evenly. Don’t leave any excess outside the lines.

Shimmer and Shine

If you have a moisturizing body lotion with shimmer and tint, apply from your face down to your toes. You can find tinted moisturizers almost anywhere. Your skin will instantly look healthy, revitalized and full of glow.

Break Out the Hair Gel

A little hair gel with shine will give you an instant classy look that is comfortable and easy!

Slick it back and tie it down. Pulling your hair away from your face will give you an immediate sophisticated look and feel in just 30 seconds. Not only will your hair be out of your way for the day, but you will look healthy and ready to go with hair that has a new and shiny, wet look that didn’t take hours of blowing and styling to achieve.

Comfortable Clothes and Shoes

While looking through that closet, make sure it isn’t too tight. Wear clothes that feel good to wear. Remember, if you aren’t comfortable wearing it, most likely, it doesn’t look good on you, either. Choose neutral colored attire that will fit with any occasion and make sure that you remember simplicity and comfort while selecting.

Stretch

Stand up on of those toes and stretch your body, lifting your fingertips high over your head. Bend your head slowly until you touch the floor and as you come up, arch your back, slowly. Once again, reach your fingertips up over your head, while stretching your calves. Stretch your arms out at your side and take a fresh breath of air and while you exhale, let go of any stress that may be lingering.

There are many ways to pamper yourself, without spending huge amounts of money and time. Practice adding these helpful routines into your daily lifestyle and you will begin to feel like a new and invigorated person. By spending this extra, needed care on yourself, you will start feeling more refreshed, relaxed and comfortable with the person that needs you the most; YOU!

Nice tips, and very practical too. I find relaxing is very important and there are sure so many ways you can do it even without spending much cash on it. When I’m mentally tired and all stressed out, I find it nice to just lie on the cold floor and close my eyes and stop thinking about anything for a while.
