Get a fuller face or sculpted cheekbones in minutes.

Many of us have heard the basic way to apply blusher.  However, this doesn’t suit all face shapes and doesn’t always give the look we are trying to achieve.

For a naturally healthy look:

  1. Take a pinky shade of blusher and a large blusher brush.
  2. Smile into the mirror.
  3. Brush blusher onto the apples of your cheeks only (the fullest part of your cheeks when you smile)
  4. You can also blend some of it further towards your nose but don’t go further than the outer third of your eye.

For the appearance of a fuller face:

  1. Take a pinky-rouge shade of blusher and a slightly smaller blusher brush.
  2. Smile into the mirror.
  3. Brush blusher onto the apples of your cheeks
  4. Blend it lightly towards your ears.

For sculpted cheekbones:

  1. Take a bronzer (choose one shade darker than your natural skin colour) and a small brush.  You can get ones now that are at an angle which are perfect for this.  Find them in most beauty stores or pharmacies, including Boots.
  2. Suck in your cheeks until you can see a slight indentation under your cheekbone
  3. Brush the bronzer into the indentation.  Don’t go overboard.  You are going for the effect of a slight shadow under your cheekbone, not a full-on orange streak.
  4. For extra definition extend it a tiny bit further than the indentation towards your mouth.
  5. Lastly, take a shimmery powder or very pale gold eye cream and blend it in on the middle of your cheekbone, just under the outer corner of your eyes.

It’s fantastic how you can enhance your face shape in an instant isn’t it?
